UAFA gained another co-sponsor in the House last week - Rep. Pedro Pierluisi of Puerto Rico.
Rep. Pierluisi is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus - two groups/committees that have been focused on for some time.
Another co-sponsor on the Judiciary Committee is a good thing, especially considering the results of the recent election.
Calls/faxes to Pierluisi to thank him for his support would be very helpful, especially if anyone is in Puerto Rico.

With the addition of Rep. Pierluisi, UAFA co-sponsors in the House now total 135 co-sponsors. This is more than the bill has ever had in any past session. It also has more than any other immigration bill, including the DREAM Act.
Call your Congressperson today (Capitol Hill main switchboard: 202-224-3121) and ask for UAFA to be considered for passage during the lame duck session of Congress. Tell your story!
